“ Recommended by friends, this place proved genuinely brilliant. Very unassuming place that you’d never find or pop into without being told about it. Lithuanians know this place but it deserves wider attention because the food is delicious. The portions are huge but that doesn’t detract from the quality. Many dishes are beautifully presented. The meat is cooked perfectly. The desserts were good and the beer was interesting as not too commonly sold in the UK. The restaurant is fairly musty but with a real historic Baltic feel inside. Most deserving of praise was the service which was as good and friendly as we’ve found in a long time. The staff are a credit to the restaurant. Along with tips a huge three course lunch with drinks came in at 40 a head so you get fantastic value here. Definitely worth seeking out. ”

“ What an amazing Saturday night full of delicious Lithuanian food, live music and dancing. Everyone here is Lithuanian but we were welcomed with open arms and had a blast. The atmosphere and art deco are already a reason to come. The delicious food will keep you satisfied for the evening and the live music will keep you entertained all night! I loved their menu which is essentially a newspaper. The menu is very extensive and offers something for everyone. We tried some Lithuanian specialties which were delicious. Service was fast and efficient. My favourite was the mushroom soup and the spicy pork. The only problem is location as this place seems far from everything, tucked away behind City Airport! ”
